While we were in Paris we took some maternity photos right when the sun rose for fun.. I sorta feel like since we document so much on this blog that I have plenty of “bump pics” but I wanted to do an official maternity shoot for the heck of it. I found this dress and planned on wearing it for the pics and then a week before I realized —- Atticus sorta HAS to be in the photos because we can’t just let him wander Paris by himself while David snaps photos of me so we snagged this lil tux on Amazon. Babies in tuxes – nothing better!!!!!! We planned on having David in some as well but then our freaking tripod broke! And yes we were going to be the people doing self timer on a tripod in Paris hah! I officially have 6 weeks and 2 days left til baby!! Ahhhh. I am so excited. I just organized her little dresser with all of her diapers, clothes, swaddles, bows, etc. and me and David about died at how tiny the newborn diapers are! I had forgotten how small they are! Atticus never did wear newborn diapers since he was never that tiny.. in fact my first words when he came out were “he is so big!” haha. So really hoping baby girl is a little smaller so I can enjoy the newborn stage a bit longer. Hope you all had a great weekend! We had a really good (and cold) weekend with friends and spent some good time with just our lil family. I am soo excited for a new week to start because I need to eat healthy this week!! David spoiled me all weekend with yummy homemade food – strawberry shortcake (he makes these amazing sweet biscuits from scratch and fresh strawberry compote – SO GOOD), potato stew, homemade ice cream and homemade apple sauce, steak, and he was constantly handing me pina coladas since that is my obsession right now.
