^^My favorite thing in the entire world is seeing him stretch when he wakes up and LOVE when his little leggies are still curled up when I pick him up! It literally melts me.
We just got back from Destin and I have baby A sleeping on my chest right now just in heaven! I love when he is curled up like a little peanut on me 🙂 But this weekend was the best weekend ever! Who knew Destin was so dang pretty? The water is soo clear and the sand is the whitest sand I have ever seen, its like snow during the day time. I can definitely appreciate clear water because being able to KNOW if a shark is coming or if a jellyfish is right next to me is quite comforting hahah I hate the unknown of the ocean, freaking scary! We stayed in a little rental on the beach and they are all actually suuuper inexpensive for such a large space RIGHT on the beach, I was super surprised and I have to say it was SO nice just being able to come and go as we wanted and not having to pack up all the baby stuff and drive to the beach. We would just pop in and out and we were able to go inside and give baby A lots of breaks from the heat, it was so humid our sunglasses would fog up instantly when we walked outside. I have a feeling we will be doing lots of Destin weekend trips.
I sure missed our pup though. Even though he can drive me bonkers sometimes (hello barking right after the baby falls asleep! Ugh!) it doesn’t feel the same without him and we always miss him lots. Our reunions are always so sweet though, he was squealing and crying today when we picked him up, it was so cute. But in all reality I think he looks forward to us leaving haha.. we use Dog Vacay (you can find families with dogs or people who just love dogs who will watch them for the weekend) and we have always had the best people watch him. He has been taken to the lake, to a cabin, on hikes, you name it. This weekend he was with a lady in Destin who also has a golden and she said they just played the entire time and got along so well and she took them on several walks a day. Much better than being in a kennel in my opinion. Not to mention every time we pick him up he sleeps non stop for the next 24 hours cause he is so pooped from playing haha its the best.
