YAY baby A and I made it back to Alabama safely after an eight hour flight, a three hour layover, a three hour flight, and a two hour drive home. YIKES. But luckily Atticus was such a rockstar on our flight from Barcelona and didn’t cry once.. I was soo relieved because I could hardly sleep the night before I was so nervous for the flight and just our long day in general. It was seriously a blessing to me that he was such a sweetheart all day. And now we are home with David and could not be happier!!

These pics are from our hike up Col De Forclaz trail in the Rhône Alpes in Annecy.. if you ever find yourself in Annecy you absolutely have to go! I have been pretty much during all weather conditions and it doesn’t matter if it is sunny, sunset, pouring rain, cloudy and foggy, IT IS BEAUTIFUL!! On the way up you get to see tons of pretty hills and fields with goats, sheep, cows and the most quaint homes in the world with their laundry on the clothing line drying out in their perfect yard – its perfection and the air is so crisp and clean I could just die thinking about it.

You guys see those pics we keeping doing holding Atticus up? I am making a book called ‘Atticus in Cool Places’ with all the pictures we take of him like that. I have quite the compilation now and I am so excited to make it for his 1 year birthday with all the fun places he went and all of his facial expressions in each place 🙂

I wore my ‘Dream Believe Achieve’ shirt which was on repeat throughout the trip for me. I love Sincerely Jules tee’s because they are so soft and have the perfect relaxed fit. And for shoes, since this trip it was all about dressing for comfort for me, I wore these New Balance sneakers (love the leopard detail on the inside of them!)

I have also had a lot of you ask about the wraps I always wear! I wear Solly Baby wraps.. I have tried a few versions of these wraps but I have committed to Solly because 1. I love how long they are.. some people say they are too long but I love the extra length because I sometimes use the extra fabric hanging to wipe up spit up while hiking and or as a little blankey if it suddenly gets cold and I dont want to carry one around. The others I have tried the extra fabric wont reach to their face, so I like that these do. The extra length is also a must if you want your husband to wear the baby. (the black and grey colors are also fab for the hubs) and then 2. I love how stretchy the fabric is. I don’t think any babies LOVE being put into the wrap.. or at least none that I know of. Once they are in they love it but Atticus doesn’t enjoy being placed into it all that much but the stretchiness of the Solly makes it easier to stretch over the legs and not make them so uncomfortable. The others I tried had zero stretch and I felt like I was making Atticus soo uncomfortable putting him in. Anyways, sorry to rant about wraps but I have had tons of questions so just wanted to explain why I choose those wraps!

Have a fab day! xo
